A serious lady devoted to laughing through life, Danielle Hitchcock is a professional writer, theatre artist, photographer, event planner, and musician. A deep-seated passion for art and sharing the good that art offers society has been her driving principle for most of her life.
While enrolled at Oglethorpe University, Danielle honed her existing talents in theatre, vocal music, and photography, while discovering and developing her love for writing and event planning. With this exceptionally well-rounded liberal arts education, she found many opportunities to share her art professionally, both before and after commencement, with companies such as Georgia Shakespeare, Theatrical Outfit, and Fletch Creative (major marketing company), as well as with individual artists and entrepreneurs. Much of her freelance work has emerged by noting a lack of art and asking permission to fix it!
An Atlanta native, Danielle is big on small business and all things local. The development of Atlanta arts and small business communities in the face of economic hardship inspires her to keep pursuing her passions; to continue to seek and to create art in every moment, both for herself and for others.
Danielle lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her partner and two four-footed, furry children, and works with an amazing network of artists and business owners whom she is proud to call colleagues and friends. Check out Danielle’s work here and on her personal blog: The First 10,000.
